Senior Citizens

LONG CREEK TOWNSHIP SENIOR CITIZENS MONTHLY LUNCHEON MEETS 2ND THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH AT NOON. LONG CREEK TOWNSHIP 2610 SALEM SCHOOL ROAD. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF JULY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER.  BRING A COVERED DISH TO SHARE.  TABLE SERVICE, DRINKS, PLATES, AND MEAT ARE FURNISHED.

Each month there is a different program, either a speaker or entertainment. Luncheon dates are as follows:

October. 10, 2024            Jim Beckhart, former Mt. Zion School Dist. Principal, will give us history of Salem School

November. 14, 2024       Chad Sparks from Calvert & Metzler Funeral Home in Bloomington will host Bingo

December. 12, 2024        Jeanne Gustafson and Charlie Montgomery will lead us in a festive Christmas sing-a-long! Lunch is catered

January. 9, 2025              Macon County Honor Guard members will tell about the military services they provide, and show how to properly fold the American flag

February. 13, 2025           Tony Anello, Macon County Deputy and Long Creek patrol, will speak on avoiding scams and take your questions

March 13, 2025                   Daniel Miller, Macon County Health Dept. will tell us about the many senior services offered there

April 10, 2025                     Senior Easter Egg Hunt!
